R36 Golf 5GTI LED Streamer Rearview Mirror Turn Signal in Blackened Shell

This LED streamer rearview mirror turn signal is a replacement indicator unit for selected Volkswagen models, including the R36, Golf 5 GTI, old Magotan B6, Sagitar, and Lavida. It fits into the side mirror housing and provides a sequential sweeping light effect when you indicate. The unit is made from ABS with LED components and runs at 12V. It is finished in a blackened shell that blends with dark mirror caps. The turn signal is offered as a single unit or as a 1pair set, giving you flexibility for one-side replacement or a pair for both mirrors.

Features and Construction

The turn signal combines an ABS housing with LED illumination. The blackened shell finish is suited to vehicles with dark or black mirror housings. The 12V rating matches common car electrical systems. The streamer effect creates a moving light sequence rather than a single flashing point.

Material and Build

The housing is made from ABS, a thermoplastic often used for automotive exterior and interior trim. It holds the LED components in place and provides a moulded shape that fits the mirror housing. The LED elements produce the turn signal light. No further material specifications, such as UV resistance or impact ratings, are provided in the source information.

Size and Practical Fit

No dimensions are stated for this turn signal. It is listed as suitable for the Volkswagen R36, Golf 5 GTI, old Magotan B6, Sagitar, and Lavida. The blackened shell finish is the only colour option given. Because size details are not supplied, check the physical fit against your existing mirror unit before ordering.

Uses and Placement

This indicator is intended for the rearview mirror housing on the listed Volkswagen models. It can be used when replacing a failed or damaged mirror turn signal, or when upgrading to a streamer-style light. The 12V operating voltage is standard for these vehicles.

Event or Professional Use

For automotive technicians or enthusiasts working on Volkswagen models, this turn signal offers a direct replacement option for the mirror indicator. The streamer effect can be useful for making lane-change intentions more visible. The ABS housing and LED components are consistent with typical automotive mirror light construction. No professional installation instructions are included in the source text.

Everyday Home Use

For everyday driving, the turn signal provides a clear indication when fitted correctly. The blackened shell finish keeps the mirror looking consistent with dark trim. The 1pair option allows both sides to be replaced at the same time if needed. As with any electrical component, correct fitting and a compatible 12V supply are required for it to work.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main practical benefit is a replacement turn signal that matches the listed Volkswagen models and provides a streamer light effect. The blackened shell finish is a specific colour choice rather than a generic one. The availability of a single unit or a 1pair set helps you buy only what you need.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

LED components generally require no routine maintenance beyond keeping the lens clean. The ABS housing can be wiped with a soft cloth. No specific care instructions are provided in the source text, so avoid abrasive cleaners. There are no stated lifespan or service interval figures, so maintenance guidance is limited to basic external cleaning.

Why Choose This Product

Choose this turn signal if you need a blackened shell streamer indicator for a Volkswagen R36, Golf 5 GTI, old Magotan B6, Sagitar, or Lavida. It is made from ABS with LED light sources and operates at 12V. The option to buy a single unit or a 1pair set makes it straightforward to replace one side or both. No performance claims beyond the streamer effect and voltage are made in the source information.
